This privacy policy explains how HousePath handles your information. In short: HousePath is designed to be useful without knowing who you are. We don't collect personal identification information, and the data we do hold is anonymous.

Data we collect
To make HousePath's tools work, the app handles:
- Mortgage preferences — such as property price, deposit, region, and buyer type
- Budget estimates you create in the app
- Saved mortgage deal comparisons
Data we do not collect
HousePath does not collect:
- Personal identification information
- Your name
- Your address
- Financial account details
Third-party services
HousePath uses a small number of third-party services:
- Google AdMob — serves ads within the app and may collect device identifiers in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
- Apple StoreKit — processes in-app purchases. Payment details are handled by Apple and are never seen by us.
Analytics
We keep analytics to a minimum. HousePath does not track users beyond the default, aggregate measurement that Apple and Google provide as part of their platforms.
Data storage
Your preferences are stored locally on your device. Anonymous usage patterns may be sent to our API to help us aggregate and improve mortgage rate data. This information cannot be used to identify you.
Data retention
Any data held on our servers is anonymous and is retained indefinitely for the purpose of mortgage rate analysis. Because we hold no personal data, there is no personal information to delete.
Your rights (GDPR)
You can request a data export or deletion at any time by emailing rory@1707.co.uk. Please note that we hold no personally identifiable information, so in practice there is no personal data tied to you for us to export or remove.
Children
HousePath is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Please check the app or this website for the latest version.
